SRAM cassettes

I've not got much better wear out of the 3 brands of chain I've used Shimano, SRAM, KMC and I thought I'd give the SRAM cassette a go,

Have you tried the KMC x9l chain? Its very good

I can't remember what type of KMC chain I have on the summer bike

Personal experience of MTB kit Dave.
cassettes don't shift very well, or last as long as Shimano
Chains are chains are chains, but Sram are noisy and don't last as long before stretching
Shifters and dérailleurs may shift slightly better due to different cable pull ratio, but gripshift has no place on any bike.
Have you seen the price of Sram?

I don't expect everyone to agree, but if i was recommending products, I can think of many different manufacturers to suggest before scam. Shimano, Campag, KMC spring to mind

Fair enough. I don't have a mountain bike, so I wouldn't know about that. Got them on our 'cross bikes, so they get plenty dirty, and road bikes but they are different sorts of riding.

SRAM 10 speed cassettes won't fit 10 speed specific Shimano splined freehubs, only the 9/10 speed shimano freehubs
