Squeeky disk brakes

Hi,

I have a relatively new mountain bike and all was fine for a few weeks. Recently my rear disk brake has started to make a horrible squeaking noise when I brake. The effectiveness of the brake seems to be poor although stupidly I did rub a waxy leaf on it during my last ride to try and stop the noise so this may have something to do with that.

What would people recommend?

They are full hydraulic brakes.

Decrease the disc. You might need also to deglaze the pad it if hasn't been through the desirable running in heat cycle. Nothing drastic.
