I'm always looking towards the next season. With autumn less than 2 months away I'm thinking about buying some new trousers. Yes, I don't need new trousers, but if we only bought things we need, life would be dull wouldn't you say?🤔 The tweed ones are more winter than autumn, but with 20% off at the moment it's best to buy them now, rather than nearer winter when they could be 20% higher not lower than £160.

These cords look decent quality and will compliment most of my autumn attire, especially my tweed ensembles!🧐

It's quite slim fitting, not all baggy and 'casual'. It won't look out of place with a pale blue or tattersall shirt, worn with either a tweed or tartan tie (polka dot cravat as well maybe). Cords and chinos, with brogues even the slightly casual oxfords I have will look ok with it. All in my opinion of course.:okay:

Edit.....Something like this maybe.🤔

I had my eye on these, but they've put them up a tenner since I last looked.

I now fancy these. I'm also thinking about taking a gamble when paying the £15 extra for sewing the required inseam length (should I buy them) and have the cuffed (turn ups) option. 🤔

Edit....Just seen the zip fly option is £20. I would've thought the safer, button fly option would've been the one you had to pay extra for, not the fiddly/could go wrong zip. I always feel safer with buttons, rather than zips when pointing Percy at the porcelain!🧐
