They can creak a bit after a while, but then I'm a big fat knacker mainly on MTBs, so road use should be indefinite.....

@Drago Good call, the chassis is the same, but the cover and padding differ slightly AFAIK.
I got 2 x Flux's, 1 x Spoon, all in Brown (don't ask...). The only difference is the printing on the logo.

I have a charge spoon. It's great no issues on any length of ride. Had it around 12months and done around 4000 miles.

My saddles to usually die as a result of abrasion or tears from crashesI.

Good avatar!

I have a charge spoon on my singlespeed; before then it was on my mountain bike. I must've bought it in about 2005. It's still great after 7500+ miles on the singlespeed.

Ironically, I hope the Fabric saddle on my Cannondale falls apart ASAP, even though it's basically the same saddle. It gets uncomfy after about 25 miles.

Ta.. Someone has to support the sick lame and lazy.. lol

Got spoons on all of my bikes. Only ever had one wear out ans that was one of the ones with the more matt type material, not the shiny ones. Material eventually wore thin at the nose, caused by excess rubbing of thinder thighs. That one went after about 2-3 years use.

I have a mix of spoons and fluxes. Longest I've ridden on one is 260 miles in one go. Also done two week long tours on them no problem.

I think the prime is the narrower racing saddle, like the charge knife; but I'm not sure.

Got a Spoon on the commuter that has done about 10k+ and put one on the MTB at the first opportunity. As has already been said, once you sit on one you just know.

I have done a fair few 100+ mile rides on mine and I don't wear padded shorts so that must say something about the saddle? I am also more than happy to jump straight back on the next day....... Spoon for the win!

I might have a problem with my spoon?.. I have ridden 45 klm and 72 klms so far and when I got back on the last ride I checked the seat level to see that all was well but the bubble had moved from dead center on the spirit level to the front black line, so I put my hands on either end of the saddle and rocked it and the saddle has a small amount of play, there's not any movement from the rails and seat clamps but appears to come from the rail to the saddle? I checked my other bike and there's no movement on either?
I'm going to do a 50 miler today so I will see what happens?
