Get it out asap
My dad once got a splinter in his thumb and it appeared a few months later further along.

Smear some soap onto a plaster, sprinkle some sugar on top of the soap then stick over offending plaster, this will draw it out :okay:
How long should it take?

I'm no John Rambo so won't be going in with a Stanley Knife, knitting needle or chisel.

I will however check on the chunk of Eccles Cake when i get back from work in the early hours. :hungry:

Stand on a ice cube or something frozen for 10 mins...dig out with needle.
or apply some soap to a plaster ,cover and leave it over night to draw..then try ice again..
