👍 Bulgari do some fairly original stuff IMO (although they're not for me). And you can't go too far wrong with JLC. Always good to do your research beforehand as you say.

08.24hrs? By that time we'd been awake hours and done all sorts of stuff.

Just 'cos you were up at 0500hrs preparing Halal burgers, doesn't mean to say you have the right to be all hoity-toity.

Morning shenanigans involve getting the DW's off to school and trying to impose my advance booking of the bathroom (almost always unsuccessful) monopolised by Tricky doing her speshial pre-brace plates and teef and Shorty going in there and taking forever doing I don't know what and I don't want to know either.
Last night, I deposited my tooth cleaning paste and bristle applicator (with handle) to the downstairs water closet to avoid the queue. Clever me.

they’re lucky to have a bathroom. No bathroom when I was a lad. Tin bath kept in the garden. Outside toilet and washing up bowl on a chair to wash in on non bath days. Kids these days don’t know they’re born.

Tin bath! Blooody luxury. When I were lad, we had to wash in puddles in the street. Kids these days etc etc...

Luvverly sunshiiine 😎, more outside garden fettling done, and the knees again were not happy with that. But it is progress on the recovery route.

Time to pour a glass and chill.

(Btw treasurer of local CTC/cUK group. Admin season beckons, annual returns due soon. Been a busy year - 1 (one) transaction so far with 11 days left to go. The honorary auditor, required as per da roolz, will have a tough time checking me out.)

Wasn't a pasty ride in the end. A pleasant very slow 86km, and I'm not dead, though might have to restrain myself in future, given it was quite hard work.

Evening. Sorry for late post. Morning snooze was a little longer than expected, followed by umpteen calls from various Nurse Specialists, Drs, Diabetes person etc. All happening today but all good.
Laundry had to be put on then 45 minute walk had to be walked. Back for lunch with wifey, then Summer Alloys for car had to be washed and tread depth measured. Could I find the depth gauge? Could I heck! Looked in car, in boot, in glovebox, under spare tyre, pockets of front seats, car toolbox in garage, bike toolbox in conservatory, 2x kitchen draws of crap. Nowhere. Decided to have another look in car and there it was hiding under a receipt! Buggers!

They came, they flustered about, induced temporary chaos to an orderly situation, they vanished
Yes indeed, without bothering to read the constitution of their host country, nor respect the customs of the locals

Just been down the the Sun with Neil for a few pints while the ladies went to Hardy Plants in the memorial hall.
Now should this be in mundane news or the retirement thread. Or will it be ok to leave it here.😉
