If your looking specifically for a fast bike, then I would look at bikes other than the S2
In back to back testing on roads it rarely makes the top five and although not by any means scientific does give you an indication of a bikes performance. The fastest road bike in tests at the moment seems to be the 2014 Felt AR2 and having ridden one myself think the bike is incredible, its seriously balls out, the bike however just feels like its on the edge all the time.

Here's some times from road bikes ridden on the same road by the same rider.

I have a Sirrus sport, 28c tyres with a reasonable aero position for a hybrid. Compared to a Carbon frame road bike I have recently built the road bike is around 2 mph faster than the Sirrus. In basic view the road bike is a couple of kilos lighter & the riding position is still more aero. This was done over a course of around 20 miles.

I like the Sirrus alot. But it is just providing good training miles to go faster on the road bike.

If the Cervelo had Marathon tour plus tyres and the Sirrus had Conti gp4000s then the Sirrus would be quicker with the same power applied to the pedals
