Spd shoe has sheared bolts

Been using a set of pinnacle spd shoes, I have used a conversion kit so I can use them with mountain bike shimano clipless pedals, cycling home a few weeks ago they got stuck in the pedals so had to force them out. The conversion kit sheared off leaving headless bolts stuck in the holes.
Is there anyway to repair these or take them out or is it a news set of shoes? Would drilling them out be an option?

Drilling, and/or using easy out reverse bits - you'll need to part drill the sheared bolts so the 'bits' can get purchase.

Loch side.
Drilling out a hardened 4mm bolt requires a lot of skill. You will need a drill press and a way to securely hold the shoe so that it doesn't move out of perpendicular. Further, you'll need to suare off the stubs and centre-punch them perfectly. Not to mention the use of a centre drill to give you more control. Don't try it. Show us a picture of the area and work from there.

TBH if you try drilling them out and using an easy out you'll probably just mash the insert up. Best bet is dedicated spd shoes. Good luck on sorting them out.
