Really? If your friend needs insulin injections, he has type one diabetes which is caused by an auto-immune destruction of the pancreas. Developing type one diabetes is independent of sugar intake.

well he did drink a hell of a lot thats what he claims still too much sugar can never be good

I was chatting to a mate today that had just been to KFC for lunch . I mentioned that now and then i go to McDonalds but once you have not eaten that type of food for a while you realise how horrible it actually is . He stuck his nose in the air and said he wouldn't go near McDonalds like KFC was some kind of health food

The falling crime figures have a lot to answer for. In my day we got plenty of exercise running from police and store detectives.
Crime figures are only falling because the Government conveniently excludes online fraud, which is rising at a vast rate. Our chubby youth have abandoned the robbing of old ladies purses on the street for raiding their entire bank accounts from the sofa.

A few responded with how they played sports when the were young. I guess you no longer do. Why stop now that you're older (and may be fatter) then tell the kids that they are fat?
Football pitch and a play area at the end of the street, both overgrown(council can't be bothered cutting either, it costs money you know!). Can't be used and the council are selling off school playing fields locally.

But as a start, how about banning vending machines from school premises. OK, the schools will lose out on some of the money they were earning from them. But there are other means of making money.

It's a bit more complicated than that...

As a start, how about increasing local taxes so the council can afford to maintain the play areas?
