I've got one fitted to the seat-stay, and I wear the other on a arm band.
The one on the seat-stay finally succumbed to the heavy spray from off the road.
What I did with the rubber seal was to get a minute blob of grease and smear it on the seal and replace it back again.
Zero water ingress since then.
