Its almost that time of the year again I’m considering guards; Ive went through three pairs of SKS blumels (maybe because I leave them on too long). So I’m thinking of trying something different this year, one option is the SKS Race Blades Long. Do folk think the race blade long’s will fit my frame ? Although I have 23mm tyres on it and, will throughout winter it has clearance for 28mm tyres on the front and 25mm on the back.

One thing I would say is that raceblade longs are designed for frames which cannot accept traditional full mudguards. It would ake sense to me to save your money and buy a set of chromoplastics or even longboards as they are cheaper and will provide better coverage, assuming your frame has mounting eyelets. The reason I think it has is because you mentioned you've had bluemels before, which mount normally. As for clearance, I'm no expert there.
