But you are used to riding bikes? It's really not very different, they just stop quicker. If used to flat bars, it's no issue. Not like the change to road bike brakes which do need some getting used to

Haha I can see a "moment" coming. I've never even had disc brakes before. Gonna be a steep learning curve. I could just use me feet hehe

I had a very short ride on somebody elses hydraulic disc braked hybrid and nearly went straight over the handlebars first time I used the brakes

Yeah I'm used to riding hybrids. Had a Marin fairfax alp and a trek 7.3 fx both of which had v brakes. I remember getting my first car with disc rather than drum brakes and bouncing my head off the windscreen slow and steady methinks

If you have a record of them saying the medium would be correct for you, and you saying you would prefer a small then I cannot see why you should be covering the costs. Fight your case.

Yeah they should have a record that I ordered small and their agent changed it. Luckily all these type of places record their calls. I asked them to check and they've changed their tune somewhat
