I'm at a swimming gala all day on Saturday, what are the chances of not hearing the score and getting to watch it later that evening.......
It depends when it finishes, KO is 4.50pm

all day.......all blooming day and even an evening session for relays. don't whatever you do, get your kids (if you have any) into swimming. its like a second job time wise and you need a second job just to pay for it.

just kidding, absolutely love watching them swim. absolutely awesome.

I love watching France play because you either get brilliant rugby or a louche protest of players setting up a table for a few rounds of wine, Gauloises and cards.
My Dad, a Kiwi, used to say that the Saffers were the only team NZ really respected...but the French were the only lot they feared. Because you just never knew what the buggers might do.

You always knew that if you got to them they'd start fighting amongst themselves. They've been much less entertaining since they generally ironed that out.

The other great thing was seeing how their fans always turned on them like a pack of mangy hounds if they got a bit behind.:bravo:

My prediction is that England will destroy Scotland. As for the whole thing - heart says England but this year head says France.

Apart from Scotland getting the wooden spoon with a whitewash I wouldn't put money on any of it though this year.

So Jones has named his first team, and after all the "Robshaw is not an international open side flanker" rhetoric, I'm not entirely sure James Haskell is either to be honest. So we're still playing with 6 / 6 and a halves. I guess we'll see Clifford from the bench.

Scotland v England today.
Will try to find a pub in Orlando showing it. There's an "Irish" pub nearby, but I fear the only thing remotely Irish about it is the name Kitty O'Shea's. Will pop in and ask, but expect the only sporting event of importance around these parts this weekend is tomorrow's SuperBowl thing.
