I bought this 1996 Cannondale R800 last year as a donor bike for the Shimano 105 8 speed groupset it originally came with.
The frame was too good to waste so I retrofitted an older 105 7 speed groupset. I removed the larger chain ring and front derailleur to turn it into a 1 x 7 and used it as a commuter a couple of times before accepting the frame was too small for me.
I still love it for it's rigidity and lightness (9.2kg, light for it's age) and I think the frame is a thing of beauty.
It's 57cm, my other bikes are all a bit bigger. If it was at least 60cm it would be perfectWhat size is the frame? Looks pretty big to me...
do u run a mobile ironing service?
