I have tried many bikes since starting cycling 4 years ago, for a weird reason the frames that are more comfortable to me are old ones, as in 20 years old.
I did spend quite a bit of money about a year ago on a modern Merida flat bar: never got on with it, was hardly riding it, eventually got a new (second hand) frame and moved the components. Must be my extra short legs
This French bike is a good fit, as I knew it would be, only needs the saddle raised a bit.
Single speed, I prefer that for daily commuting, only really use gears for leisure cycling.
