Just back from my first carbon (recycled yoghurt pot) experience in Lanzarote on a rented Bianchi - took my own pedals. Somewhat underwhelming. Twitchy. Very so. Nothing 'about it'. Much prefer the 1982 version all round, much more graceful thing altogether, even if the hills can be a bit of a grind sometimes :smile:

Ha- I bet that's the first time someone's turned up with quill pedals and Christophe toe straps to ride that carbon rental bike 😆

I love the '82 though. From the era when Bianchi pantographed everything!
