If the shifters are the same as the top they are 10sp, likewise 11sp if the bottom, the new Tiagra is the same shape as the the 5800 but 10sp and available as a triple.
Neither of which you'll notice has a thumb shifter.......

+1... By way of an experiment I bought Wilkinsons own cable inners (£1.99 each) last time just to see if there really was as much difference as I'd always assumed there was. That was four months ago and in the last few weeks I've started having problems with shifting that I know will be instantly resolved as soon as I've gone back to decent cables. Basically they were fine until the weather turned and then began to corrode seemingly overnight. Buy cheap, buy twice, as they say...
They are galvanised opposed to stainless steel, which does oxides, used to be the same on L.R. body capping's, but the surface oxidation forms a good barrier in helping the steel against corrosion.

I don't know any 10sp or 11p that has had thumb shifters, and all shimano's current range have the paddle arrangement even the Claris 2400 8sp range, the 9sp Sora 3400 were thumb shifters but the newer 3500 have the 9sp paddle.
Even the 8sp 105 had paddles,

So if its a 10/11sp it can't have thumb shifters, if it has its not likely to be 105 shifters, though it could have a 105 RD. even the 9sp Tigra had paddles

Maybe. But my bike still doesn't shift properly!

I like Wilkinsons... It's the only place you can still get pick 'n mix... but I won't be making a habit of buying bike products there!

The oxidation creates a white powder which will choke up the outer cables, making shifting problematic.
