Well we are amassing quite a bit of content for our site (propshaft rebuild on Sunday hopefully!).

I like the idea of building it and testing it off-line first so I think we will get to that point and then look at hosting it.

A recent discovery of mine has been mobiresite, which lets you do things locally or online. For the most part I've found it really intuitive and the free option (which I use), displays a banner which you can dismiss with a click (though it does come back each visit), but its still just one click.

May be of use as an option @keithmac

@sheddy's suggestion of Weebly is good too, it's very well thought of, although I can't get it to work on my Mac at all which is supremely irritating.
