Yup thats was me too , wing chun/ mma till i was injured , shoulder would ache for 2 weeks after a session and that's why i had to rationalize and put keeping my job and supporting the family etc etc before personal gain.

Cycling (road and mountain bike) and climbing (rock and ice) tie for first place, then skiing, hillwalking/scrambling, eventing and swimming. I mostly participate, the only sports I actually watch are cycling and 3-day eventing.

Football's No1
Both playing and watching
+1.
But I am a ManUtd fan. So quite happy this season so far. Hopefully still happy tonight!
Football has been a major part of my life for over 30 years now. Still palying Sunday league at the tender age of 46.
Also like climbing, boxing & cricket (the ashes).

Cycling is my first, swimming my second, running my 3rd. I'd say tennis was my 4th but i've not played it in years, and don't make an appointment to watch it on tv either.

Rowing > Cycling > Running...although doing a 100 mile run in about a month so running is becoming more of a priority

Fishing was my first sport the got into cycling much prefer to cycle than go fishing in fact now retired from fishing possibly for good

I'll watch anything......

Other than cycling, my favourite has to be baseball. I used to play before I 'retired' and I still do an annual US trip to watch the Major League teams. Last year it was San Francisco where I saw the Giants and took in a couple of Athletics games at the Oakland Coliseum. The Giants went on the win the World Series, so fantastic atmosphere at the ball park on the Bay. Not sure where yet this year. I quite fancy Washington to see the Nationals, perhaps travelling up to Baltimore to take in a couple of Orioles games as well if I can figure out a way of getting in and out of Baltimore safely!

Also, motor sports, not surprising as I'm not far from Brands Hatch and have enjoyed many hours bother watching and driving there. I have to say though that I haven't been much over the past couple of years since cycling has become the number one interest, so I might sell the car and get (yet) another bike :-)
