MotoGP is quite extraordinary.

I followed it in the days of Lawson, Mamola, Kocinski, Spencer, Gardner, Schwantz et al.. which was occasionally brilliant.

Now, with Valentinik, Lorenzo, Pedrosa and the chippy Aussie, it is regularly excellent. I can't believe the spectacle and wonder why so many stay so attached to F1, which is clever and fast but rarely brilliant, despite being amusing to watch occasionally.

I also have a soft spot for Arsenal..... which is the result of a damaged childhood.

The other sport I compete in regularly is football (twice a week), but I by far prefer playing cricket and golf but can't find the time to partake in either very often anymore. Two Kids may have something to do with that.

Football's No1

Both playing and watching. Spurs fan here. COYS!

Unfortunately my body's nearing the end of it's tolerance for footy so i'm returing to my childhood love of cycling.

Cycling is a second for me also. My first love is archery, I also like sailing. I tend to use cycling as a way of improving my cardiovascular fitness which is useful for archery, as the fitter you are the lower your resting heart rate is.

I only do cycling now due to a knee op. I used to love fell walking living very close to the Lake District, although that is not a sport. As far as watching it I like cricket best, got bored with the overpaid prima donna footballers in the premiership about 2 years ago. Watched my first match for a couple of years the other week when Chelsea played Manure in the Champions League as it was on council telly, why I bothered with that boring rubbish I really do not know.

Rugby League is my sport of choice which is odd for a South West lad as we are a big Rugby Union county in Devon and have very little amateur league and no professional teams here

St Helens is the team i follow .. i also love to watch my 15 year old lad play rugby on sundays

I stopped playing football after university, got back into 5-a-side and realised I get too many injuries to sustain liking it as much nowadays. Got back into cycling but was never into road (or watching it on telly) and love it. I know play less sports as it can hamper the cycling, also it seems my hams have got shorter so sprinting (running) and football I have to be more careful.

Footy is my first sport - watching and not participating I hasten to add - I'm a Port Vale fan (league 2 footy sucks) but I'll watch whoever is playing (apart from Stoke)

In terms of participation sport I used to be a bit of a gym addict, and then turned into a spinning addict and was doing up to 10 classes a week when I was young free and single

I brought my 1st bike about 4 years ago when my first child was born and now I just love being out there in the country on my own !

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Martial arts was my 1st sport , i had to stop training when my shoulder got fooked up so i could not train properly anymore at my chosen style, i know i could do tai -chi and in fact i did it for a few years but its finding the time on shifts etc etc .

I used to view cycling as a alternative cardio workout but now its my main sport.

Never been into mainstream stuff , in fact the last sport i was into as a tv spectator was ..

The mighty Chiyonofuji !
