I could still pop along to the store and check this one for sizing and grab a coffee then order a new one.

This just caught my attention on a letter from PX it’s a Titus Road Runner but now it has a double chain rings on the front.

It’s the same price as a Ventus but it has mounts for rack and guards, this is something that was causing me some frustration on what to do.

It’s relaxed geometry but my Merida is termed as an Endurance style bike.

Also SRAM I have never used.

Also I think the Titus range falls under a lifetime warranty.

I’m correct in thinking SRAM is one lever to change on mechanical group sets? It’s a light push to change to a smaller gear and a hard push to change up?

Yep, uses double tap system. No wobbly brake levers!

Fantastic thanks Vickster, I’m waiting for PX to confirm some details on the warranty.

Size wise I’m 6ft so large looks the way forward.

I got my bonus confirmed so I’m really looking forward to getting something on order.

I found a Ventus the store is relatively local it's a 1hr drive, I have spoken to the store and they have been really helpful, I initially called to ask if they were getting more VN in stock and their reply was we have 4! seems their website was having issues and the bike and size I was interested in they had in stock, they haven't put the Ventus and size I was interested in back on the website until I go and see how I feel about the bike as well.

I checked the VN size guide and it seems I'm a large or a 57 in VN terms, my Merida is a 54 but it's totally different geometry.

I'm going to get to the store as early as possible, they have agreed to hold the bike if I want to proceed until the 28th when I get my bonus.

I'm really excited and nervous at the same time haha

Deposit placed, I’m picking the bike up when I get paid.

I loved it more than I thought I would and the bike fit like a glove.

I can’t sing the praises of the staff at C&N enough if you need something and they are within your travelling distance use them.

Fitness and fun mainly.

Some commuting when I can and my partial commute.

Edit: the seat post will come down when I change the pedals and wear appropriate shoes, taking trainers wasn’t the right move.
