I found my M+ and Ms absolutely fine on the snow and ice during the last two winters. The winter tyres work better (seen them in action) but how likely is it we're going to have a winter as bad as either of the last two in terms of snow and ice?
The long range forecast from the Met. Office, is for a colder than average and drier than average winter but considering the Met. Office predicated a mild winter last year it would seem a completely pointless forecast to base any purchases on.
£53 delivered for two M Winters is great value, just finding some can be hard this time of year.

Thanks for that Crumpetman. You run them at full pressure when it is not icy and that way the spikes do not contact the ground. When it is icy you let some air out and so the tyre has more contact with the ground and the spikes get to do their stuff.
