I have an Innovations 'Top Dog' floor pump, with a head that has two holes on it - one for presta valves, one for schrader. The presta bit works fine - I use it to pump up the road bike tyres all the time, but now trying to use the schrader hole to sort out mtb tyres.....nothing. The air keeps coming out of the presta hole.
I am doing something wrong (I don't think so.....) or is it an eccentricity of the pump?

look for a button or a twisty bit, might need to move it or press it etc. to convert it to schrader.

I don't know your particular pump Pepecat but the head unit on mine sounds similar and is supposed to self select schraeder or presta and gets stuck occasionally. Pumping it with a thumb over each opening alternately a few times can get it to unstick.
Hope that made some sort of sense.

Pump has a locking device, which I normally use with the presta valve - have tried locked and unlocked with the schrader valve; nothing works. Then i wondered if it was the inner tube so tried another - still nothing.
No button to press or anything to twiddle to switch between holes as far as I can see..... It is supposed to auto select the correct head, so I shall try pumping with thumb over each hole and see what happens.

Mine does this occasionally. I connect the pump to the valve, then "surprise" the head with a few quick short, sharp pumps. This usually shocks the stuck selector free.
