My daughter found a car she liked on some site so I emailed the selled and it is apparantly in Spain. Unfortunately I didn't have time to waste winding up the seller.
See payment method & when it was going to be made.
@Kiwiavenger, anything against a wind up job in the "buyer"?
She's either after the air fare to see you*, or she's a long lost relative, you never knew about, with a cheque for a few million that she wants you to bank for her.Old thread revival time.
I have a 35-40 year old woman on Facebook who wants to know my Whatsapp (i don't use Whatsapp) and Gmail addresses. Well,i say 30 year old woman, but i doubt it. 'She' says she's from Germany and now lives in Ghana. Is this probably a scam? I might ask 'her' why she wants them.🤔
But how would having those addresses help 'her' if it is a con? It's not like 'she's asking for me to send money or give my bank account details.🤔 I give my email address out often when asked for it. Maybe 'she's genuine.🤔She's either after the air fare to see you*, or she's a long lost relative, you never knew about, with a cheque for a few million that she wants you to bank for her.
They sell the details on. You'll end up receiving even more "requests", via e-mail.But how would having those addresses help 'her' if it is a con? So nice looking 35 to 40 year old German lady doesn't really want to 'get to know' 60 year old bloke from Accrington?@Accy cyclist - if she's got your e-mail address then he (unlikely to be a 'she') can use that and attempt passwords / information recovery. It's all information gathering.
I seriously don't know how they operate. 'She' keeps calling me 'dear' 'How are you this morning dear'. In a way i'm playing along with her/them. My daughter tells me to block her,but leading them on,thinking they've hooked a gullible one is a bit of fun wouldn't you say? They sell the details on. As long as you're careful with any information you give out. Remember , they'll be doing this to more than one person, and will know ways of getting you to give information than you think.I seriously don't know how they operate. Think it's best to just not reply from now on.👍As long as you're careful with any information you give out. Remember , they'll be doing this to more than one person, and will know ways of getting you to give information than you think.
They can also get nasty, so be careful.
Go for it Accy. What could possibly go wrong?'She's just messaged me. Saying '
I'm tired of being alone and all the men out there are liars and cheaters I want a man with trust, Love, honest and understand.

If she comes knocking, I’d hide behind the sofa!! And let us know on CC, we’ll come and help.....oh hold on, we can’t because of lockdown. I’d be there in spirit Accy - good luck.I just 'she' doesn't come knocking on my door. Mind you,are flights from Ghana to Manchester allowed at the moment?🤔
