• this morning, riding with shorts inside out - 10k and a train ride before I saw the error of my ways

Once, when riding in cooler weather, I grabbed my black lycra tights/leggings to wear over my shorts. A couple of miles down the road I noticed they were sliding down my legs alarmingly - and I realised I'd put my wife's pair on by mistake!

I accidentally wore the padded liner for my baggies back to front and spent a long, uncomfortable ride wondering why Endura thought that my testicles needed such extreme protection!

Looking like a mamil. I used to cover it up as much as I could with baggy shorts over the cycling ones and so on but gave that up as it was more faff than it was worth and killed half the practicality of the cycling specific gear I was wearing in the first place.
I'd still prefer not to look like a tdf wannabee though.

I've only once been on a ride where it was raised as a problem, I think my response black socks are faster up hill
