Safety Gloves

I followed the link to the Screwfix site and spotted a pair of work gloves in orange. Ideal for when I'm riding my Orange brommie 😄

Well, I'm old. This means I gave indifferent circulation and Reniers or whatever.
I take blood thinners my skin is softer than Andrew.

This all boils down to I get cold hands, a graze is bloody messy.
For everyday I have an armoured pair of gloves.
For cold days I have a cheap pair of ski gloves.
And if it's wet and I'm organised then a pair of SealSkins.
Cold dry days a pair of thermal gloves, not quite as warm as the ski gloves.
Then there is a pair of fingerless gloves, those the remember sunny days will recall these. Again, protect your palms when you take a tumble.
That's just one part of my cycling kit collection.

i cant wear fingerless gloves unless its well into 20 c and sunny as my reynauds means the fingers go white from windchill even on a summers day , i do take meds that sound like yours which help .
last night i had on a thin fleece glove with another pair of windproof gloves on top .

I take the same approach - although I'm not as cool as you, having never ridden a motorcycle - but the contrary "evidence" is that lots of the pros don't wear them. And they usually crash more in 1 season than I have in my whole life.
