Goddards White oils embrocation is also on the extinct list now. This wonderful stuff mended sprains strains and aches. You can get Ellimans, but it is not as good. Some places claim to sell it until you go on their site and then it is not available.

I used to put a teaspoon of Andrews Liver Salts into my glasses of diluted orange squash to make orangeade... drank loads of the stuff when I was little.... no-one knew mind or they'd've probably stopped me. No noticeable effect though, that I can remember!

Use to take it as a hangover cure.

Here for rides.
I was first told K&M was going out of production in 2010. I think there must be a large stockpile of china clay and a lake of morphine hydrochloride in ethanol somewhere.

To add to Reg, I doubt the amount of morphine in the mixture was enough to be misuse-able. And I've definitely seen it on shelves in the past year or so, as well as the non-morphine kaolin mixture.

That's where you are wrong.

In the early days of my romance with Mrs Vernon, she got a dental abscess and was in excruciating pain that was not relieved by the pain killers prescribed by the dental hospital - they operated an emergency service back in the day. She had to wait two or three days for some antibiotics to act before treatment could commence and she was beside herself with the anticipation of a weekend of misery until....

I bought quite a few bottles of kaolin and morphine and using readily available household items and kitchen utensils I prepared a concentrated clay free elixir that could be rubbed into her gums. She spent the entire weekend off her box and when the dentist asked her, upon her return visit (I had to hold her up at times) to the dental hospital for treatment, "Where does it hurt?"

Her response was "Nowhere maannnn...."

I think that she decided I was her man for the rest of her life that weekend.
Imodium, much better and doesn't taste like you are drinking chalk!
The whole point is that Kaolin and Morphine was a REAL medicine.

The fact that you had to shake it up to make the two layers mix AND it tasted awful are what makes it work

Woven from the hair of many a young boy

Kaolin and Morphine is available for about £1.67 per bottle but the postage is arounr £3 and you can only order one bottle at a time.

Even Galloways has gone.

Was it Blue Stratos or Denim that was 'For the man that doesn't have to try too hard' ?

Anyone remeber 'White horse oil' for muscular pain ?
