Puzzle game procrastinator!
Can't believe how cheap skates there are on here, buying from Lidl and Aldi! Having said that I bought some s/h Shimano shoes in the market here for a fiver!
Give poverty a go some time ... If I were earning half what I did 20 years ago, I'd be earning 10 times what I actually earn now, and I was not even that well off way back then!

In real terms given inflation i am earning less than i did 10 years ago and i have had 2 kids since then , i survive mainly on ebay specials and only bought a "decent" pair of shoes when i requested money off everyone for x mas .

Today's my first day in my new Specialized Sport Touring shoes that I decided to splash out on after one of my Aldi shoes split at the sole in front of the cleat, though it had lasted well over 5000 miles.

@Cycleops, I make no excuses for choosing to be a "cheapskate" and using Aldi kit. Their cycling shorts, tops and gloves have served me well for a long time. I don't know or really care what your situation is but I do take issue with being branded a cheapskate by someone who knows nothing of my own.

Sorry if I offended you, I know you are very serious about money matters north of the border, but surely you could tell my remarks were tongue in cheek.

I highly suggest Specialized Road Shoes
