I am doing a charity ride in the summer
Can anyone tell me the best route to take that will miss out heavy traffic.
I am starting in Balamory heading south to Brigadoon.

I would avoid Pigeon Street at rush hour. I think Sesame Street has a cycle lane now though, so that section should be ok, at least as far as Grange Hill. Be aware that the NCR across Byker Grove can get quite muddy, so you may be best off going via Seaview.

Beware of going through Eastenders, they are not very friendly.

Do your ride in the superb wonderful Yorkshire Dales,at least you won't get fried Mars bars thrown at you.No only kidding enjoy your day.
