You would need psychiatric treatment just for paying anything for it let alone 500USD. I would rather ride Susan Boyle!

Quite agree. Although I may well pay USD 500k to not ride Susan Boyle. But hey its art by Damien Hirst. Buyers of some modern art do not seem to be plugged into their brains. Did you hear about the invisible art gallery. You did have to actually pay to get in!. A fool and their money and all that.

Back on Topic if I had the spare cash I would seriously look at the Moda range of bikes. They seem pretty decent kit at reasonable (ish) prices. If money was of no object I really do not know if I could invest 3.5k on a pushbike anyway

So many bikes I'd want.
focus izalco pro 3
pinarello dogma 2
Principia RS C24T
BMC timemachine TM01
rose jabbawood1 (for a little of that dirty stuff, which Im not very good at!)
But on a more realistic level, something like a Rose xeon crs-4400 - I have a bit of a rose fetish at the moment.

If I had that sort of money would I spend it on a bike? Yes, if there was nothing else I needed! Disposable income shouldn't be sitting in a bank gathering dust, I'm very much of the opinion if you have it, spend it!
But Im also realistic, and would always put things I need before things I want.

That Bianchi up there is a thing of beauty!

Ridley Noah 2012 with the reversed/intergrated brake calipers for me. The best fitting bikes I've ever had the pleasure of riding, took one out for a test ride with no intention of buying a new bike 2 days later I had a new Orion Sp. Edition - oops, but the Noah was beautiful unfortunately £5.5k was a bit steep.

Could I do it justice? Could I heck. That's not the point.

Alternatively, the Cervelo R5 or S-Works Tarmac would be good choices. I'd only choose the Felt because I have two Felt bikes already and love them both, so they've inspired a bit of brand loyalty in me. At that end of the market, I can't imagine there's much to choose between different makes.

In this fantasy world, whichever bike I buy, Di2 is a given.

Couldnt agree more, you would also be saving economies. If I had infinite money then I would be mountain biking on Olympus Mons on a red bicycle made by ferrari. No need to be realistic if money is of no consequence.
Seriously tho I would definitely be biking it all over the world on mountain bikes, road bikes and motorcycles.
