That is sad. We have said a few times that he if could speak he would have said " Seen it all before, last year, the year before, the year before that..... ". We will miss him and so will Monty as I know how attached he gets to his dogs.

Me too. I’ve got a £100 bottle of Dalwhinnie that I’m saving for a special occasion and that would’ve qualified. Now I’m both disappointed and saddened.
