haha I have vintage dresses and circle skirts but none of which would look right on a bike.. and too shy / many wobbly bits to be going au-natural. Fair play to you and those who do though, all for freedom of choice and individuality.

@Batgirl, there are many reason involving the rides, though two prominent ones, its about try to raise cycle awareness and a protest on the usage of oil, though I think when a 1/3 of the ride is on cycle paths around York its sort of is self defeating.

ahh now that is a shame the point is lost slightly by the cycle paths but great reasons to protest. I'm guilty on the petrol front of things as own /. commute a fair distance for uni. But hoping to take the train more often - though not that much better in being green I doubt it's got to be better than my car. I wish I could take my bike on the train easier though.

When I saw the title I immediately thought that you were a naked cyclist. You wear whatever the heck you like when riding your bike. If you want to ride in a pink ballet tutu and pumps, you do that thing. Cycling is all about freedom

Shall there be a pic of your new bike anytime soon?

So long as you feel comfortable, who gives a monkeys ? With my limited cycling ability I'd look a right nana wearing the latest Team Sky kit. Electric blue Joggin' bottoms, brown carrimor trainers, grey bell helmet and a black t-shirt it is then. I have just bought a Black&green Aldi winter cycle jersey though, mainly as it's handy fer storing stuff. I hope it doesn't clash !

Whatever you're comfortable in? Some people just go too far! This lot seem to be managing without the proper clothing.

Riding in the countryside, I'll wear lycra, hardly ever any one but the odd sheep or farmgirl to notice me. In town, I wear clothing a bit less obvious. I've no wish to stand out as the MAMIL in TJ Maxx.
