Ride It Or Rubbish It - Tyre Tear

Had a visit from the P fairy yesterday, and whilst she was in some ways kind by placing a big enough piece of glass through the tyre so I could find it easily, it has left a small tear. It's about 7mm long, and I have taped it on the inside, but would you ride it? Tyres are GP4000S II's, and only have a couple of hundred miles on...

I'm afraid that may fail, probably at the worst possible time. Especially if it's on the front.

50/50 for me.
I'd put a boot in it and use it on the back until I finally got around to replacing it.
I did over 4,000 miles on tour this year with a bigger cut in my back tyre simply because I could not get a replacement tyre easily.

I'd bin it or save it for the turbo where a tyre failure is much less of a hazard.

OK, thanks folks. It's cut right through, so I'll swap the front to back, and put an old Gatorskin on the front.
