What time is it?
"What time is it, Rory?" asked Cory one lazy day.
"When I checked my watch this morning, the hour hand was where the minute hand is now, and the minute hand was one minute before where the hour hand now sits. I notice both hands are now at exact minute divisions."
What is the time now? When did Rory check this morning?

If the hour hand now is at an exact minute division, then the minutes now must be one of 0,12,24,36,48 (since a minute division on the hour hand equals 12 minutes of time)
So the hour hand this morning must also have been at 0,12,24,36 or 48

Which means that possible times this morning are:
0:00
2:24
2:48
7:12
9:36

If the hour hand now is one minute division after the minute hand, then the hour hand now must be on 1,13,25,37, or 49
So possible times now are:
1:12
2:36
5:00
7:24
9:48

The only one of those that matches is:
Now: 2:36
This morning: 7:12

The Good , The Wise & The Lucky
On an old remote graveyard three most wanted people found the Federal sack of gold coins.
As the tension grows, they decided to play a game of chance instead of shooting each other out.
Each one to has to toss a coin : The Wise , the Good and the Lucky consecutively.

The Wise : Mastermind of succesful robberies/swindlings and a war strategist.. schemed :
If all the faces of the coins from the tosses landed the same, The Good lost his share of the golds.
If only two faces of the coins from the tosses landed the same, The Lucky lost his share..but
If none of faces of the coins from the tosses landed the same, The Wise & the Good lost the shares.
The Lucky: Who never lost a poker hand, fortunately thinking the deal favors him.. . .accepted.
The Good:Sharpshooter and highly skilled who can control results of a dice throw or toss-coin..also agreed.

After all three gold coins were tossed..who had lost ?

It was either Lucky or Good, never the Wise,he knew luck would favor Lucky and Sharpshooter never missed. And they had to get at least two same sides because a coin has only two sides,so the Wise never lost.

It was almost like "Heads i win, tails you lose":becool:

Understood now.Not rearranging the letters top to bottom:banghead::banghead:
Compo is correct if it has to be caps and benb is correct if it doesn't need to be caps:thumbsup:

Oh, hang on, I think the question is ambiguously worded. It needs to be a palindrome in the classic sense, no matter which way up you write it.
So pod is incorrect, but NOON works (as long as all caps is acceptable)

The word "I" also works!!
