Was it at night (He'd finishedfor the day) & was he on his way home? Would there be a funny smell(Funny smell might be a bit fishy) in the phone box?

Thats another old one.

The burning field, should you ever find yourself in this situation, grab a load of grass, light it on the wall of fire and set light to the grass further along as that will burn out leaving you somewhere to stand as the wall approaches and burnt grass cannot burn again. Thom pretty much got this one.

Those 'man with dead goldfish realises his wife is having an affair, how?*' type puzzles annoy the crap out of me. They're supposed to test lateral thinking, and so make people feel all good about themselves for getting the answer, but they're just ''puzzles' derived backwards. That is, think of the answer then work out an oblige, mystical sounding question for it. Truth is, any number of equally cock-eyed scenarios could give the same answer but, oh no, you have to provide the right one to prove your a 'lateral thinker'. It's all bollocks I tell you.

*Answer = he's a boring twat and she couldn't wait to leave him. The goldfish is actually a red herring.
