I would say re-paint, but I've had both my steel frames from new.. so quite attached to them.
One was specifically built for me, and in my 'own' designed paint finish - i.e. bespoke/unique.
The other was an off the peg 653 with a specific colour scheme, which I quite like.
Anyone who has seen either will say they don't need re-painting, but I'd be prepared to pay serious bucks to get them done - the 'best' bike would cost way over £200 to do (the frame cost about £450 over 20 years ago....)..
