I have an Expedition rack and use Cateye lights, either a TL-LD1100 or a TL-LD600. Both these lights have a male dovetail on the back which mates with a female mounting bracket made by Cateye which screws into the two middle holes on the back-plate.

Sorry, the bracket doesn't have any serial number on it, so you will have to rummage about at the LBS.

Good luck.

This B&M Toplight is what I have on my TorTec Expedition. It bolts directly on, no need for brackets. You may be able to get it cheaper as I personally have found SJS to be a little expensive sometimes.

There is a cheaper, non senso version available too. I would guess it has the fitting bolts as the senso version but I wouldn't swear to it.

Cheers, btw, to whoever moved this topic whilst I was in mid reply. The 'this topic does not exist' error message I got had me baffled for a moment!

I've fitted a B&M to mine. A 4D permanent which is battery operated and has 3 LEDs in the middle and one at each edge.

Same rack here, I'm now running 2 superflash lights with the rack mounting plates (1.50 each, bought from JE James on Sat despite the online price)

Mounted side by side by means of a couple of additional holes drilled into the rack plate

If you're only fitting one light then it bolts straight on, no drilling required
