I'd have gone for the 12-30 6700 cassette and stuck with the short cage rd

No real reason to go for a 6700 series cassette over the 4700, especially given the OP already has the medium cage derailleur to support the larger sprockets.

I ment I wouldn't have brought the medium cage to start with. The ratio between the 12-30 felt much smoother for me to ride than the 11-32.
