Seven speed ! That’s so last century. I insist on having the absolute latest in cycle technology so I’m running Nine speed .^_^

I’m up with the kids, 9 speed for me too!

On my ebike the chain started skipping. I checked with the tool and the chain itself is fine.
Is there anything else that can go wrong to lead to skipping but cassette?

If your motor isn't on the back wheel (and it doesn't look like it is) then just get a new cassette and fit. If you're sure the chain measures up ok then it should cure the jumping. There can be other reasons but the obvious one is a worn chain/cassette. It does look a bit worn in the photos.

Thank you. I have replaced the cassette and I can see the improvement however some gears still like to slip so I reckon it developed some misalignment or derailleur got bent and I think these adds to the wear of the cassette.
