Not crossing over at Windsor, Lee...by the Chocolate Theatre somethingorother Cafe? (Scene of my last date with Davy..mwah!:smooch:) "Bollards!"

I know. The logistics of this is fun. If I cross this then I would miss another, which I may still do as I do like Eton High Street. However as it is a very leisurely ride I think I'll stick to the planned route and have a drink break at the Windsor Bridge just so we can walk over it.

Dave hope you can make it..

Yep, I now can. I have had words, laid down the law and so I shall see you all then.

I can, if anyone is interested, lead a ride out from London to the start too..

Sunday's Itinerary
Leave Staines Station @ 10:00am and immediately cross footbridge to Gresham Road. That'll be good practise cos there are other bits where we have to carry the bikes.

10 miles later we can have a drink/comfort break at The Chocolate Theatre and get a crossing in at Windsor Bridge.
Lunch is either after 24 miles at The Queens Head - http://marlowslittlesecret.co.uk or 31 miles at The Flower Pot - http://www.brakspear.co.uk/our_pubs/pub_page/97/flower-pot
If we have lunch at 24 miles, we could have tea and cake at The Chocolate Theatre in Henley. Yes they have two. (I think this has turned into a Ride for Food that appeared to stop last year. Must resurrect that.)

Expect punctures. We will be going over gravel tracks, so expect the worst and hope for the best.
It looks like there may be rain in the air so come prepared.

This is the route as near as damn it http://ridewithgps.com/routes/2477727 with definate walking at around 29 miles and a couple of odd bits when needed as we will be going on The Thames Path at times. Even though it is flat and only 48 miles I think this will take longer than you think due to the ground under tyre.

See you all Sunday

It's a bit more complicated than that...
In principle we're still in (and building up our muscles for the tandem lifting...) We haven't yet worked out logistics - are there trains back from Reading to somewhere near Staines?

This sounds like fun and is easier to get from Woolwich peanut than I thought. Can I be a maybe just now until I work out whether I have any clients booked in for Sunday?

The bit to Twyford can done via Sonning, which follows the Thames on a Sustran Route NCN4. Which quite nice.
Me, I'll probably be lazy and catch the train.
