Racing with 3/4 length bib tights.

Sorry for the silly question, its it ok to race with 3/4 length bib tights? I've got my first race coming up at redbridge on saturday and had a look at the photos and couldn't see anyone wearing them and wasn't aloud to wear them when I did a open TT. Cant see a mention of them on the BC webpage.

I'm sure I saw someone in last years Sid Standard Junior RR wearing 3/4s (April 2009). Put a pair of shorts in your kitbag as well just in case!
