It's a pity any of those 3 had to lose! You coukd make an emotional case for all of them, I guess.
Ganna for his transformation from big TTer, Pog cos he's never won it, and MVDP as it's great to see a generational talent.
I just hope @Adam4868 had Pippo each way 😊

I was watching it on RTBF , french belgium tv. The commentary is ace and jolly...."la troisième attaque, alors!"

Tres bien!

The coverage I found was mainly Michael Hutchinson and Philippa York. The latter rarely seems to say anything wrong/daft, the former is guaranteed to be funnier than anything Rob Hatch has said in a lifetime. Think I got lucky there

Great races; real edge of the seat stuff. I guess if the UAE plan had fully come together, without that incident at the bottom of the Cipressa, & Pog had launched later he might have had the edge over MvdP. Next year*.

*Though at £30.99 unfortunately I'll have ditched TNT

Epic race from MVdP. Think we'll see similar but more refined tactics from Pog next year.
Main takeaway from me is that, barring accidents, there's no way we'll see Pog race in France before the Dauphiné.

Watched it late...then drank to much...
What a race,Chapeau Matty VDP,played it ice cool and was a deserved winner ! Pippo was something else,to come back and make the sprint was wow...thanks for the e/w Pippo 😁
I think Pog raced the near enough perfect race...could he have done anything different at all...nah,really can't think of a way he could of with MV and Pippo.Man can he light a race up,who else can make San Remo one of the best races they've seen ?
Can't wait for next year's race.
