I suspect the 10 week delay in getting the funeral organised was in part to ensure they could get 2 ex PMs and the current PM to attend.

There can’t be many people who can get such an impressive turnout to a funeral.

I think regardless of how you vote politically, John Prescott did his job to try and make things better for everyone, not for his own benefit
