R.I.P. Gene Hackman

One of the best screen actors of all time, gone to the big screen in the sky aged 95.

His wife who was in her 60s, and their dog, were also found dead, so however it went down its incredibly sad.

I've seen most of his well known films, eventually I sought out The French Connection which I'd slept on far too long and is an all time great.

I agree, very sad. Can't recall ever seeing him in a poor film. He played a baddy just as well as a goody.
My 1st thought was, gas leak or similar.
As Twiddler said, the true facts may come out at some time.

I remember a scene in 'The French Connection' where he played a policeman. He walked into a cafe and all the drug dealers started to discretely drop their drugs. If the film was remade today they would have battered him.

RIP the Superman cast, Reeve, Kidder, Beatty now Hackman. Along with Reeve's superman, probably the best Luthor.

He was a good actor, but I don't remember him in much. He was in Unforgiven, The French Connection, and The Poseidon Adventure Adventure.
