I believe that the show did great things for the sales of Ford Torinos. Pity it wasn't a Cortina, but then there was The Professionals Capri.

The Professionals was always my favourite, that's why I ended up with a Capri.

I did make the Revell model of Starsky's Torino a few years ago though. 😊

I remember some Datsun Cherry owners had them sprayed red, with that white 'swoosh' painted on each side.:rolleyes:

I can remember these chunky knit cardigan/jacket type things back in the day

Used to be able to get them down the local market. I was quite fashion conscious back then, but resisted this particular look.

Harringtons, high waisters, platform shoes, Brutus shirts..............them were the days.

My mate’s mum (the same mate whose dad’s car was called Silver Lady) knitted him a cardigan to the exact pattern as that! It was pretty decent.
