Not wanting cto get into semantics ,but no where is mentioned 'wife' or second 'wife'.

But I am an Atheist ,so it's all nonsense anyway.

Cain 'fled the presence of the Lord' and lived in the land of Nod, Then 'Cain knew his wife and she conceived and bore Enoch' according to Genesis 4:17.
And according to Mrs Dodds, I was a 'very wicked little girl indeed' because at the age of about seven, I asked questions about how it was all possible ...

Hopefully not Enoch Powell! Edit, didn’t Cain live in North Yorkshire (Emmerdale)? ^_^

My question is why do folk still get milk delivered to their doorstep, when it gets warmed up on hot/warm days, creating a bacteria concern and as above becomes a target for thieves? 🤔 Also, if I remember rightly blue tits like to peck through the silver foil tops. 🐦

I like having a milkman. Don't recall anyone dying from warm milk back in the day either? And he can bring you all sorts of shopping as well now.

I think most people who still get milk delivered will bring it in before it gets too warm.

I actually remember more of the opposite problem from when I was a kid - the top being pushed off by a column of frozen milk in the winter.

My next door neighbour currently has milk delivered. I only realised because the milk float sometimes arrives just as I'm leaving for my morning commute (7:00AM).

I used to get milk delivered in glass bottles, but eventually stopped as putting the bottles back out again was too much of a faff as I am probably one of the least organised people you will ever meet! ☺️
As for slightly fetid milk from having it sat outside... Yes, been there, done that.

I also had orange and apple juice delivered as well as eggs.
I miss it, but alas.
