Pressure on hands - advice please !

Core strength exercises: buy a balance ball (one of those big 55cm diameter things) and kneel on it. Try to stay balanced on top of it. That'll use every core muscle going. As others have said - check your seat position and just do little changes until you find you optimum. I also alter the position of the hoods on mine. I find having them too vertical pushes on the nerve between my thumb and index finger which causes numbness.

The only other thing, which I don't think anyone has mentioned yet is gloves. I highly recommend Specialized BG Gels. And the only other thing I'd suggest, if you don't do it already, is to alter your position on the bars. I know when I do longer distances there are some times I'll even ride with just my forearms resting either side of the stem (not in a built up area obviously). And one more final thing, make sure you're not gripping the bars too tight. I know lots of people that do this, especially when climbing or when putting the power down!
