Nothing fir the second month running:angry:

Five months of nothing! Mrs G however is buying the tea tonight.

Pfft, a couple of months? Try over four years! 🤬

I’ve read that the effective % return you get on PB’s is determined in large part by how many of them you have. But I have nearly £40k of them, not far off what I believe is the maximum, and yet I am still only getting somewhere between 2 and 3% on them, over the course of the 12-24 months. I believe the maximum is £50k. If I topped mine up to this level would I notice any difference on my % return ?

Should increase your chances but still your bonds are a tiny number in overall amount.

If you are not investing a decent amount then it isn’t worth bothering in my opinion. I’ve got sub £10k and haven’t won anything for the last 12 months but that’s ok as I have other revenue streams that I treat it like a lottery.

£150 for me
£150 for Mrs. C.

The prize fund drops again from January so "Slim Pickins" may become the order of the day.

I sold a car for £15k a couple of years ago.....and having no particular plans for the money: 'invested' it in some Premium Bonds. Again; like you - kind of seeing it as a chance in a Lottery. But of course also hoping for a return ! I think i won 1 x Solitary £25 in something like 14 or 15 months.

At that point i withdrew it. I do now have something approaching the max limit of Premium Bonds; i'm looking to put into something else. Needless to say 'that' experience has put me off. I saw the pay-out % has just been reduced too.....

£325 for me
£375 for my mum 👍🏻

I'll need to figure out the annual returns.

Apparently also, there's £150 unclaimed from May 24 for my dad's estate, will need to ask solicitor.
