Premium bonds - weird coincidence

I could perhaps have got more from a bond/savings but then I’d have lost 40% in tax next year! Cash ISA maxed out, shares ISA still about 4% down!

Be glad you got that much last month, many of us got nothing! It's the annual amount to compare to other savings not monthly (don;t forget to account for the tax you might have paid on a taxable savings account)
