Daughter & her b/f are getting a Rottweiler puppy in a couple of weeks

Taken over a week ago, they’re collecting him at the end of the month
Sorry, I got the pick-up date wrong, in my quoted post

On Friday, I called at the local 'Pets R Us' (as we call it, as the toy store, that partially shares that name was a couple of units away) on Friday, en-route home from a trip up to the caravan, to pick up a sack of pre-ordered dog-food
It wasn't in stock, when we'd tried to get some earlier in the week, so came as a special order

Flat-pack dog food
(no assembly required!)

Oh deary me @rockyroller  Madam Rosie Posie has had some serious fun there!

Some cats are inveterate paper shredders. I've never had a TP shredder, but my old boy Toby, you couldn't leave a newspaper unattended, or he'd have it. On a practical note, it may be worth investing in an extra cat scratcher or two (the el-cheapo cardboard ones will be fine) just to make sure she's got enough things to scratch.

thank you for the suggestion. we do have 2, 1 flat one & 1 small post, she does like using them both. but TP must be some kind of special fun. she's been so frustrated looking outside watching the other critters play in the snow. we used to always let our cats out, but that's a slippery slope

Catio? That'd give the best of both worlds.
